For over 40 years leading metal producers world-wide have relied on the rugged dependability of the Stokar. Electrically powered and hydraulically controlled, the Stokar makes stoking, skimming and charging less costly and more productive.
The newly designed and engineered Stokar is more rugged and more dependable than ever. The unitized frame is of all-welded construction with one inch steel in critical places.
Stokar features simplified controls. All controls are hydraulic for ease of operation and reliability. Push button switches turn the power on & off. One foot pedal controls hydrostatic drive for forward, reverse and speed. Hand levers control the boom & accessories.
The large protective Stokar cab is designed for convenience, comfort & safety. It features an adjustable seat and steering wheel and a heat reflective wire mesh heat shield. Optional cab designs are available depending on plant requirements.
Stokar is powered by a reliable TEFC electric motor.
The hydrostatic front wheel drive coupled with a wide wheelbase provides smooth, responsive & stable control. The compactness of the Stokar allows for easy maneuverability resulting in a 10 foot turning radius.
The versatile Stokar can be fitted with various tools for increased productivity. The standard end plate is used for stoking & skimming. A modified end plate allows for specialized skimming. The 180-degree rotating bucket is used for charging.
Stokar can be customized to meet most customer needs (including an air conditioned cab).
